About Us:
Dr. A. Martinez Bilingual Academy is a dual-language Montessori public charter.
Our dual-language program will allow for our students to learn in both English and Spanish, expanding their vocabulary beyond what is taught in Head Start programs or Public School. We want to encourage our students to learn a second language in a natural way, beginning with the basics before moving on to daily conversational Spanish.
Our Montessori program allows for students to work at their own pace, having the ability to master new or challenging concepts in a comfortable environment. Montessori is a student-led, self-paced, and teacher guided approach to education.
The Montessori approach to academics is a unique one, focusing on the “whole” child, emphasizing the same amount of educational consideration to instilling respect and courtesy.
